About Us

It was 2009 when our passion for people and cars came together and out of that came Treadworks Tire & Auto, our Auto repair facility. The ride we have been on has been amazing! From our first 2 bay shop, to changing the name of our company to Alan’s Wrench in 2015, moving in to the larger 5 bay shop in Cottonwood Shores, becoming a Grease Monkey franchise in 2019, and finally growing to a whopping 9 bay complete automotive maintenance and repair center with state of the art tools, machines, computerized alignment, cutting edge diagnostic and vehicle programming tools.  Because we provide maintenance and repair for our customers in the Hill Country, we run into opportunities to acquire vehicles that others may not want anymore, make repairs, and find new homes for them.  We're not a large auto dealer at all, however, we can often find vehicles for customers through our network in addition to the few we keep in inventory.   We have been dedicated to serving the Texas Hill Country through it all.
